From it's Kamakura Classics line this Over shirt has been crafted in a mid weight wool flannel fabric which feels durable but very smooth and luxe. CPO is an abbreviation for Chief Petty Officer (U.S. Navy petty officer), an outerwear shirt with its roots in work uniforms. This allows the shirt to be worn with a thick inner layer such as a sweat or T shirt. A polyester lining cloth has been added to the back of the collar and cuffs where friction occurs. This is one of the elements of a genuine CPO shirt. You cannot go wrong pairing this with a crisp white T shirt in Spring & Summer. Adding a ribbed beanie cap in colder weather puts you into Jacques Cousteau nautical territory!
