Inis Meains much-loved Patented Aran Sweater in a beautifully soft Cashmere and Merino blended yarn. On the Island, Aran patterns were passed down within families with pride. Inis Meáin's signature Patented Aran pattern has the distinction of being held in the collection of the National Museum of Ireland. Unique to Inis Meáin, the intricate composition of this fine cable knit pattern creates a tailored, classic look reminiscent of the strong twists of the Island fishing ropes. An alternating cable and moss stitch motif features on the sleeves and highlights the Patented Aran design. Crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto, made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes.

Available in Natural Colour with a Rich Brown & Tan  flecks. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop. An Aran Sweater made in the only knitwear factory in the Aran Islands - a true Aran from Aran.

CARE

This garment is made using some of nature's most luxurious natural fibres, Cashmere and Extra Fine Merino Wool. This yarn has a characteristic crimp making it susceptible to pilling over time. To protect against pilling do not wear underneath other woolen layers or velcros and do not over-wash.

Hand wash in water no more than 30 degrees using a mild detergent. Lay on a flat surface to dry.
